Over the past few years, Hishtil has demonstrated a steadfast dedication to ensuring the supply of Xylella-free plants to growers worldwide.

Beginning in 2020, Hishtil took proactive measures to comply with the evolving regulatory landscape, and our efforts have only intensified since then.

The company underwent extensive sampling of lavender and rosemary in its nurseries across Israel, under the conduction and supervision of the NPPO of Israel, demonstrating a clear commitment to compliance and plant health. The results of these efforts were clean and Xylella-free plant material, in line with the requirements of the regulations.

In November 2021, Hishtil reinforced its dedication to plant health by confirming the rigorous and independent testing of lavender and rosemary mother stock for Xylella. With the added complexity brought about by Brexit, the company assured its UK as well as world-wide customers that the supply of high-health, high-vigor, Xylella-free plants remained unaffected.

Most recently, in April 2023, Hishtil reassured again its unwavering commitment to compliance with the strictest regulatory measures. Once again, the company highlighted the extensive sampling conducted by NPPO Israel, reinforcing the fact that our plant material remains clean and healthy, free from the devastating effects of Xylella.

We at Hishtil care about the well-being of the agricultural industry and will continue our ongoing commitment in meeting regulatory requirements, ensuring plant health and providing Xylella-free plants to growers worldwide. Hishtil is fully dedicated to quality, compliance, and improving the quality of food while protecting the environment.
